Magnus is a talented mage, but his potential cannot be fully exploited because the leader of his group is unable to make use of his abilities. Instead, he is supposed to use spells on the monsters that have little or no effect at all. Because of this, the members of his group treat him badly and label him as useless. After another friction, the tensions peak, which leads to his departure from the group.

Then, Magnus meets a merchant who sells him a mysterious book … a book that is said to contain the accumulated knowledge of the world! It is written in the language of the gods and contains valuable information, for example about important people or how to defeat even the strongest monsters and increase your level quickly and easily. The most important information, however, is completely different: the way to defeat the Demon King!

Magnus ist ein talentierter Magier, dessen Potential jedoch nicht vollständig ausgeschöpft werden kann, da der Anführer seiner Gruppe nicht imstande ist, von seinen Fähigkeiten Gebrauch zu machen. Stattdessen soll er Zaubersprüche an den Monstern anwenden, die keinerlei oder nur wenig Wirkung erzielen. Aufgrund dessen wird er von den Mitgliedern seiner Gruppe schlecht behandelt und als nutzlos abgestempelt. Nach einer weiteren Reiberei erreichen die Spannungen ihren Höhepunkt, was zu seinem Ausstieg aus der Gruppe führt.

Danach trifft Magnus auf einen Händler, der ihm ein mysteriöses Buch verkauft … ein Buch, welches das gesammelte Wissen der Welt beinhalten soll! Dieses ist in der Sprache der Götter geschrieben und enthält wertvolle Informationen, z. B. über wichtige Personen oder wie man selbst die stärksten Monster besiegen und seinen Level schnell und einfach erhöhen kann. Die wohl wichtigste Information ist jedoch eine ganz andere: die Vorgehensweise, um den Dämonenkönig zu besiegen!
