The animation studio Gonzo was founded in 1992 and has since developed into one of the largest producers of anime series. Its first own project was the anime “Blue Submarine No. 6”.

In the meantime, it joined forces with the studio Digimation from April 2002 to July 2004 and called itself – until the reincarnation of the name Gonzo in July 2004 – Gonzo Digimation.

Das Animationsstudio Gonzo wurde 1992 gegründet und hat sich seitdem zu einem der größten Produzenten von Anime-Serien entwickelt. Das erste eigene Projekt war der Anime »Blue Submarine No. 6«.

Zwischenzeitlich tat es sich von April 2002 bis Juli 2004 mit dem Studio Digimation zusammen und nannte sich – bis zur Reinkarnation des Namens Gonzo im Juli 2004 – Gonzo Digimation.
