Description

TOHO animation STUDIO Co., Ltd. was founded on August 2, 2017, as a joint venture between ILCA and ANIMA, at that time under the name I&A. TOHO later became an investor and the company was renamed TIA on October 1, 2019. On September 17, 2022, TOHO acquired further shares in ANIMA, after which the production studio was renamed TOHO animation STUDIO Co., Ltd.

The aim of this collaboration is to create a creative group beyond national borders whose works will inspire people all over the world. The company is headquartered in the Shinjuku district of Tokyo.
