Shanghai Haoliners Cultures Media Co., Ltd. is a Chinese animation studio. The head office is located in Shanghai. The current managing director is Li Haoling, who also founded the various predecessor companies.
The company was originally founded as Shanghai Hui Meng Wen Hua Chuan Bo Gong Zuo Shi in 2013 and later re-established as Animation Company Huimeng on the 11th March 2015. The company is also known as Huimeng Donghua. At first, they mainly took care of work on anime that was outsourced from various Japanese animation studios. When the company was re-established, it also launched the new brand Haoliners Animation League, which is often just called Haoliners. Under this brand, the studio, together with its subsidiary EMON, publishes the anime they produce.
In June 2015, the company invested in the Japanese animation studio Artland before finally establishing its own subsidiary EMON in Japan in October 2015.
One of the animation studio’s largest shareholders is the Chinese company Tencent.
