aNCHOR ist ein japanisches Unternehmen im Bereich der Planung, Produktion und des Vertriebs von Gaming-Software und Animationen.

Im Mai 2011 wurde das Unternehmen unter dem Namen ixtl gegründet. Gründer war der japanische Produzent Takashi Nakanishi. Dabei wurden auch die Rechte an den Werken von Kouki Yoshimune und der Marke Âge von ACID an ixtl übertragen.

Im Juli 2017 erwarb Avex Pictures 90 % der Aktien des Unternehmens. Im Juni 2018 folgte die Umbenennung in anchor (seit Juli 2019 stilisiert als aNCHOR). Neue Büroräumlichkeiten wurden im April 2023 im Stadtteil Minato bezogen.
