Synopsis

The ninjas from the Land of Sky attack Konohagakure with their air jutsus as they seek revenge for the destruction of their country during the “Second Shinobi World War”. Konoha’s defenders are caught completely off guard by the sudden surprise attack while the much-needed fighter Naruto is held up by the strange girl Amaru, as well as Shinnou, a doctor whose village on the outskirts of the Land of Fire was also attacked by the flying enemies. The mysterious man needs Naruto’s assistance to save an injured man. What many do not know at this point is that Orochimaru is also looking for the doctor and has sent Sasuke after him, as Shinnou knows many secrets about the technique of reincarnation that Orochimaru would be only too happy to learn for his sinister deeds.

Konoha lies in ruins after the battle, and the invaders retreat to restore their forces. The Hokage Tsunade seizes the opportunity and assembles a small team consisting of Sai, Shikamaru and Kakashi to launch a counterattack. Meanwhile, Naruto, Sakura and Hinata are assigned to accompany Amaru and Shinnou to their village. Soon, there will be an unexpected reunion between Naruto and Sasuke as they uncover the secrets of the long-lost Land of Sky …
