Pokémon : Les Voyages (2019)

Through a recommendation from Professor Eich, Ash is able to attend the grand opening of Professor Kirsch’s new research laboratory in Orania City. This facility is equipped with the very latest technology and can therefore predict when and where Pokémon will appear in the wider area. Many trainers use this prediction to wage a battle against the very strong Pokémon Lugia, although no one is able to achieve any significant success.

Independently, both Ash, with the support of Pikachu, and Goh attempt a direct attack on Lugia. As a result, both are actually able to get on the back of the flying Lugia and accompany it for part of its journey without further struggle. For their courage and the knowledge they have gained, Ash and Goh are hired as scientific assistants in Professor Kirsch’s laboratory. They are also given a shared room there, and Ash’s mother also agrees to Ash moving in.

Their first assignment is to investigate the unusual behaviour of the Pokémon Ivysaur and Bulbasaur, which are moving in large numbers toward an arena tower still under construction. To Ash and Goh’s surprise, they quickly find themselves in a fierce confrontation with Team Rocket …

Durch eine Empfehlung von Professor Eich kann Ash an der feierlichen Eröffnung des neuen Forschungslaboratoriums von Professor Kirsch in Orania City teilnehmen. Diese Einrichtung ist mit der allerneusten Technik ausgerüstet und kann daher auch vorhersagen, wann und wo in der weiteren Umgebung Pokémon auftauchen werden. Diese Vorhersage nutzen viele Trainer, um einen Kampf gegen das sehr starke Pokémon Lugia zu führen, wobei niemand nennenswerte Erfolge verzeichnen kann.

Unabhängig voneinander versuchen sowohl Ash mit Unterstützung von Pikachu als auch Goh einen direkten Angriff auf Lugia durchzuführen. Im Ergebnis können beide tatsächlich auf den Rücken des fliegenden Lugia kommen und dieses ohne weiteren Kampf einen Teil seiner Reise begleiten. Für ihren Mut und die gewonnenen Erkenntnisse werden Ash und Goh als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiter in Professor Kirschs Laboratorium eingestellt. Ihnen wird dort auch ein gemeinsames Zimmer zur Verfügung gestellt und auch Ashs Mutter ist mit dem Einzug von Ash einverstanden.

Ihr erster Auftrag dient der Aufklärung von ungewöhnlichem Verhalten der Pokémon Bisaknosp und Bisasam, die sich in großer Anzahl in Richtung auf einen noch in Bau befindlichen Arena-Turm bewegen. Zur Überraschung von Ash und Goh finden sich beide sehr schnell in einer heftigen Auseinandersetzung mit dem Team-Rocket wieder …

Es handelt sich bei »Pokémon Reisen: Die Serie« um die Staffeln 23, 24 und 25 der »Pokémon«-Saga, wobei hier ein partieller Reboot vorliegt.
