Bandai Entertainment was founded 1998 and was an American subsidiary of the Japanese company Bandai Visual.
Back then, the company was not directly founded by Bandai Visual. In 2008, the company Bandai Visual USA was absorbed and integrated into the existing company structure. In the beginning of 2012, the company announced that they would no longer add new licences to their catalogue but keep producing content for the existing licences. In August 2012, Bandai Entertainment made public to stop their production on the 1st March 2013. Shortly after the company was closed.
