Description

BANDAI NAMCO Music Live Inc. is a subsidiary of Bandai Namco Holdings and was originally founded as AE Kikaku in 1983. It sponsored many anime series, produced DVDs for anime and computer games and made advertising efforts. Among others, the company held licenses of all the “Gundam”-series being produced by the animation studio SUNRISE.

In the year 1989, the company was renamed BANDAI VISUAL Hanbai. It was renamed again in 1991 to BANDAI VISUAL. It kept its name until it merged with Lantis on the 1st April 2018, remaining the only one of the two companies under its current name, BANDAI NAMCO Arts. Lantis has been a label of BANDAI NAMCO Arts since then.

On April 1, 2022, the name was changed to Bandai Namco Music Live Inc. In the course of this, a restructuring took place in which Bandai Namco Arts, BANDAI NAMCO Live Creative and SUNRISE Music were merged. The latter two companies were dissolved and Bandai Namco Arts was renamed. In addition, part of the video production of Bandai Namco Arts was integrated into Bandai Namco Filmworks.
