Description

Thanks to her Russian father and Japanese mother, Alisa Mikhailovna Kujou not only grew up bilingual but was also taught the characteristics of both cultures early on. She lived in Russia for a long time, before returning to Japan for her final year of secondary school. Alisa is hard-working and ambitious, having learned early on to rely on herself above all else. Her silver hair gives her an unusual, albeit above-average, appearance, and she is well aware of this, as she does not shy away from using her good looks to achieve her goals. At the same time, her aloofness protects her from being constantly hit on, as an icy stare is enough to drive away any admirer, no matter how ambitious.

She often comes across as arrogant, but she finds it hard to understand why other people don’t do the same and always try to do their best, which makes her very judgmental. What Alisa doesn’t like at all are people who have no ambition and live for the day. This is why she initially despises her classmate, Masachika Kuze, who constantly falls asleep in class and forgets his books. It is only when he rescues her from a difficult situation that she begins to reconsider her position. The feelings she experiences are completely new to her, and she doesn’t like them, so she is even meaner to him than usual, especially when he calls her by her nickname, “Alya”, which is normally only used by her family. Alisa only dares to be honest with him in Russian, as she is convinced that he can’t understand her anyway. She takes her desire to become a student representative very seriously and is prepared to do anything to achieve her goals.
